Alison Bear graduated from the Savannah
College of Art and Design in 2009, earning
a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Department of
Metals and Jewelry. Alison opened her studio
in early 2010 at her home in North Georgia.
Her designs play between traditional metal-
smithing techniques and light-hearted,
whimsical subject matter. Drawing inspiration
from past eras as well as incorporating current
trends, her designs are created in sterling
silver using contrasting metals, gemstones,
found objects, and surface treatments to accent
each piece.
